I absolutely enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. It was hard to put down at times. I’m already looking at more books from this Author because the writing style is such a masterpiece.

Don't. Just don't do it to yourself. If you want a good domestic thriller just read Behind Closes Doors by B.A. Paris. Save your coins. PLEASE

I read this book in one day. I literally could not put it down. Believe the hype, it’s so good!

Fast paced for fast reading

I’m a slow reader but read this in two days while at work. Loved it!

I brought this book on me on vacation and started reading at the airport waiting to board - I had 20 pages left when I got off the plane and finished at the pool by the hotel. In that 12 hour day 7 different people, including the flight attendant mentioned how good this book was. They were right! It has some potential triggers for some folks which is why I have it a 4, but over all it was twisted in the right ways and well written.

I did not see that ending coming. It keeps you on your toes, for sure. So glad I picked it up!

This was a great book! I devoured it in 2 days. It'll definitely keep you hooked and make you feel something. However, it's written at an 8th grade level and is a very easy read.

Wow! There were times I was reading chapters in bed that made me get up and lock my bedroom door! Never had a book do that. I see you, Colleen Hoover! Not overly spicy, either. Very realistic but kept me flipping pages!

Hooks you from the first page, incredible writing, nail-biting, can’t-put-down. I love this book so much, the writing style is one of my favorite, going back and forth from past to present. Intense, incredible, amazing. Hoover should definitely write more thrillers. She does a wonderful job. I could picture every scene in my mind so clearly.

I knew from the start where this book was going, and other than the twist at the end it was pretty much as I expected.

This book was so good. I started reading it and I could not put it down. There is a bonus chapter the author wrote late and Colleen Hoover herself posted it online. If you love romance, mystery and a touch of thriller this is a book for you!

This is the first book I have read by Colleen Hoover and I really enjoyed it. I now have a new favorite author and will have to read all of her other books.

You can tell a romance author wrote the book, as those parts get more detail than anything else. Worth the read but 4 stars for the rushed ending.

first, you either like colleen’s way of writing or you don’t and for me? hard pass. i heard all the praise! i watched the recommendation, the reviews, booktok, all of it & look, i caved. i bought this because i’m more into “mystery/murder/suspect,” i read it, finished it, and then sat with it. was it a good plot? sure, i mean it was a little silly in some areas did i expect the ending? honestly, no. i’m pretty good at guessing how suspenseful books end but this made me reread the ending bc; “what? she did what? does that mean— oh my god.” that was very much my reaction. would i read it again? maybe. it was simple, easy to read, easy to follow. it’s not a terrible book, im just not into colleen but i won’t discredit this book, solid 8/10

CW/TW cheating, murder, fake illness This book is simply not good. The book does not have any good character development and the characters are all unlikable. The story is completely unrealistic and if you know anything about the medical field is absolutely incorrect (no spoilers but if you read it you know). The book is written to assume the reader is gullible and will just go along with any "plot twist" if it stirs up drama. This book is simply not good and the epilogue just made it even less enjoyable. This has been the second Colleen Hoover book I have read and I only stuck through it because of how many people love it. Absolutely not worth the read.

Holy cow. From beginning to end I was obsessed with this book. It has a rough storyline, hard to read as a parent. BUT I could not put it down. So good.

The book was VERY good. Colleen is a very talented author. The book kept me soooooo hooked. Throughout the entire thing. However, there are some sensitive topics and graphic scenes that some people should be aware of.

The story was interesting and the character development was alright. I thought the intense twist of an ending left some to be desired. It felt rushed and wrapped up overall. I know this story has a lot of hype online and it just didn't live up to it for me.

Literally read in one day! I couldn't stop reading it! Definitely keeps you on edge!

I just got this book in, and is the first book by Colleen Hoover I have read, and I did not put it down! I read the entire thing in one sitting, It was just so captivationg and intriguing. I am putting more books by this great author in my cart now! :)

It has been soo long since a book sucked me in from page one and KEPT me the entire book. Every single page. When I wasn’t reading I was wishing I was. This is the best book I’ve read in a decade! It’s mysterious, trippy, creepy, suspenseful, allll the things. I can’t say enough about this book. Gonna have a book hangover for a while I’m afraid. I passed this on to 5 coworkers and they all devoured it too! If you like this genre, don’t hesitate, do yourself a favor and get to reading.

Truly an original piece of work that you can not put down! Great storyline, incredibly suspenseful, and leaves you questioning who the characters truly are. I wish I could read it for the first time again!

This is the first book by Colleen Hoover that I have read, it will not be the last. Very original story line with a twist that I did not see coming. I found this book very hard to put down.

This book is incredible. I was left speechless. I don't know who the real villian is. I usually don't read books like this but I have to say I will now read anything this women puts out. I have never been on the edge of my seat and wanted to stay up until 5am to finish a book before. The characters or so complex . The plot twist wow. If you love dark thriller romance please buy this book it will not let you down!

This book is equal parts disturbing and amazing.

The only thing I didn’t like about this book was that it ended. I borrowed it from a friend and liked it so much had to buy one for myself.
