If you're staying in LA you may as well do it in style. This high-spec home in Studio City is tucked away from prying eyes yet super central, with an easy drive through the hills to nearby Hollywood. Modern, practical and beautifully styled, it's a slice of low-key luxury. A large house with more than enough space for a family or group of friends, it's built for entertaining, with a vast living room with vaulted ceilings, patio doors and a giant aquarium (say hello to the shark from us). There's a very well-kitted-out kitchen, a pretty dining room with a long, natural wood table, and a full bar for those evening cocktails or afternoon beers. But a home in the hills would be nothing without outside space. Surrounded by lush palm trees and high hedging, your private drive and terraced garden offer an incredible 20,000-square-foot of space – it's a real oasis. You'll have a covered outdoor kitchen with a bar area and barbecue, a stunning private pool and a separate covered seating area around the fire pit. And follow the steps up to the highest point in the garden to find secret seating spots, perfect for watching the sunset. Back inside, three large bedrooms each come with en-suites (two with private balconies too) with the stunning main bedroom also boasting a fireplace and a walk-in wardrobe. And we just love this one's generous en-suite, with its huge shower and freestanding tub. From here it's just a short trip to many of the area's big attractions, with Beverly Hills, DTLA and more within a twelve-mile drive. And after a day out exploring we guarantee you'll want to end the evening on the comfy sectional sofas in the living room – the perfect place to put your feet up and plan the next day's adventures.
